In the time of Adam, and up on into the flood and beyond, I suspect the earth did not revolve around the sun, but things revoved around us. I could be wrong. No one has offered a good arguement why not yet however. This would make the ancients correct after all. Amazing.

The earth beginning to revolve would provide the mechanism for rapid continental seperation as well. What a big change occured. It is wonderful. No?

[empahsis added] Please do more than just sitting in front of your computer thinking up these things. Actually have some basis for your assertions. Where are you pulling this absurdity out of? I could be wrong.? You are so certain in everything else you post, why the equivocation here? No one has offered a good arguement why not yet however.? Maybe because there's no need to. I have heard of no one offering an argument why there aren't 50 planets in our solar system either--because it's absurd!!

you'd think that people would have noticed if continental drift had only been occuring for a few thousand years, and the continents have moved thousands of miles from their original locations. That would cause some parts of the world to be moving at SEVERAL MILES per YEAR. That aside, of course the idea of the solar system revolving around us is absurd. The laws of physics aside, Occam's Razor says that it is much more likely that "the ancients" were mistaken than for the earth to spontaneously hurl itself around the sun, just as begins his experiments. Not to mention that with the sun going around the earth, in order to have anything like a 24 hour day the sun would have to orbit the earth every 24 hours. Of course large objects such as the sun, simply cannot orbit smaller object such as the earth, it would be like trying to swing a car around your head on a rope.

Which ancients were correct? The Sumerians, the Chinese, the Romans, the Vikings, the Egyptians, the Mayans, the Maoris, the Aborigines, the Native Americans?

If there was a world wide flood, more cultures would have some kind of record for it. After all, there are cultures older than the Biblical ones, that obviously survived your alleged flood, without even noticing it. How did they survive and why didn't they notice it?

The Earth didn't begin to revolve, it was already revolving while it was being formed, some 4 billion years ago.
The continents are separating at the same rate they have always done, more or less.

Yes, myths and fairy tales can be wonderful. That's kind of their purpose; lifting us up from the mundane everyday life, into a magic land.
It's not healthy to live in that magic land though, dad. Come down to Earth again, please.
