I'm not going to bother with explaining what a theory is by sceintific use. I'm just going to call you stupid.

I have no problem with this. Christianity is a fact in that it exists. Christianity is a faith in that many of its tenets are unprovable.

Christianity is a fact and a faith. Nobody I've ever known has tried to deny THAT. It exists as a religion, thus it's a fact, and religions are based on faith. What were you trying to point out, the obvious?

I believe, though I could be wrong (but knowing JohnR7 I doubt it), that he meant that Christianity is a fact in that it's true, not that it exists.

Johnny, Johnny, Johnny, let me boil it down to a level even you can understand. That evolution has happened is a fact. The method by which evolution happened is the theory. Please keep in mind that a scientific theory is not a guess, casual conjecture or dice roll.

Christianity may be a goose, but associating it with science is slander!

<<< then christianity can be a fact and faith >>>
It could be, but there's nothing so far to suggest that it is.

The sight of JohnR7 appended to a quote is getting to be almost as bad as seeing 'dad'. Go away, JohnR7, go away.

Actually JohnRsol, it's \"What sauce is good for the goose is good for the gander.\"
So apart from the obvious condoning of homosexual bukkake, one could note that the sauce - in this case 'critical reasoning' as facts cannot be applied to both, definitely improves science. And 'God' knows religion would be viewed in a fairer light if you extracted your head from it's cosy colon shaped hat!

yeh... but its not. Doesn't faith negate the need for fact?

so if a gander is good for a goose then apparently a gander is good for a gander, which makes the gander bisexual. correct me if i'm wrong but are not fundies rather a tad against that?
