Quote# 11639

Also, when it comes to character, Atheists don't have any. They're boring, trivial people in General. But if they receive Jesus Christ, maybe they will become interesting and begin to utilise their full intellectual potential.

Last I checked, the biggest discoveries in the past century have been by atheists...

If you receive Jesus Christ, set aside your intellect, throw out skepticism and let God's representatives on Earth do your thinking for you, you too can become interesting and begin to utilise your full intellectual potential. Yeah, right.

Well, it's obvious that Prophetable has not met many atheists and/or he is a lying asshat.

\"But if they receive Jesus Christ, maybe they will become interesting and begin to utilise their full intellectual potential.\"

This statement is obviously untrue as an atheist who had become a Xian could not possibly be using his/her full intellectual potential.

Sorry pooponthetable, comedians, ever heard of them? They're sadly deficient in your Jesus gene!

Given you think you believe in Jesus, I'm going to have to ask you what happened to your claims of being 'interesting'.

Also, if you feel you've reached your full intellectual potential, can you please go and play in the primordial ooze with your peers!

Every atheist I've ever met is evidence to the contrary.

Boring? Boring?!

Call me amoral, call me a baby-killer, call me a satanist.

But boring, that is just going too far.

Hint to Prophetable: not all people who don't go to geeky, insular church groups are athiests.

Yes, most of those ordinary joes you're insulting probably believe in a God of some form.

Receiving Jesus makes one interesting only to a psychologist. I doubt Prophetable is a psychologist.

Um, it's the fundies who hate 'earthly pleasure', not the atheists. Seems to me that the atheists and non-Christians in general have the monopoly on fun.

Atheists, like everyone else, can be as smart or as dumb as everyone else. This guy, however, with the one thing I hate the most - sweeping generalizations - has proven that he's worth a nice solid 5. And as a practicing Xist (with degrees in Wicca, Buddhism, and Thinking For Myself), I can fully say that I haven't utilized a damn bit of my full intellectual potential. I've got my rocks, I bang 'em together, I'm content.

I know an atheist (I myself am a bit agnostic) and he is a very interesting person to be around. He's a musician.
