You know, Dumdum, just because there is a person in a picture without clothing, it doesn't mean it's pornography. If you think there's pornography in a photo of a little girl being burned by napalm, it's all in your sick mind and you should be ashamed of yourself.
@Julian
Actually, go fumigate your room with white phosphorous!
And then light up a joint, cigarrette, or cigar and toss the lit match carelessly into a pile of said phosphorous.
Observation 1: Poster is "Ryan"
Observation 2: Post is on "Myspace"
Observation 3: Finds photo of suffering child to be "child porn" and burned Iraqi child "hurt by terrorist"
Conclusion: Fundie Fuckwit !!!!
Sorry, ryan, had a lazy shift-key finger moment. I apologise sincerely for impugning your good name!
He is saying the entire US army should commit mass (assisted) suicide? I may not agree with what the armies do in Iraq, but that is going a bit far.
On antoher note: This morning I got somewhat angry at the news. They said that Iraq was invaded to stop Saddam from expanding his arsenal of nuclear and chemical weapons...
Whitewater, I think it may have been accidental, but I hope you realize that the poster on myspace who made this comment posts as "Ryan". Where as I post here as "ryan". We are two different people, and I am kind of a jerk sometimes, but I am not an all out fundy asshole.
I also know the difference between nudity and porno.
In all serious, though... That photo of Kim Phuc is just chilling. I've never seen it before, and... yeah, considering how moderate I've been towards war lately, it does open my eyes to the reality of war.
Child porn?!? Nudity does not equal pornography; circumstances can, and often do, require a different interpretation. This famous photo (which, if I recall correctly, appeared on the COVER of Life Magazine, hardly a porn rag) is a documentation of the horrors of war, not a sexually oriented piece of prurience.
As for the other photo's comment, I think the guy has his war zones mixed up. The terrorists we were supposedly going after never were involved with Iraq; the putative link with Iraq was a complete fabrication, endorsed by the Bush administration to justify going to war against it.
This person must be another proud sponsor of the Fundie Word Redefinition Project.

There's a line between suporting the troops, being pro war, and being retardeed. What we seem to have here is a guy whos humping the line deviding the ideas of pro war and retardation.
In conclusion I state that Ryan needs to find better porn and quite masturbating to pictures of war.
Presumably, "the terrorist we are trying to eliminate" refers to the Iraqi insurgents (who, regardless of who hurt this particular kid, certainly aren't above killing and maiming children).
That said, Ryan is a sick fuck. Here's hoping he gets a disfiguring facial cancer and dies from it.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
