Understand the strategy of witches. If you're a believer in Jesus Christ who's living right according to how God's Word tells a believer to live, no witch on Earth can curse you!

I don't care if it's the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz or even Gandalf from Lord of the Rings: NO WITCHCRAFT WEAPON FORMED AGAINST A SERVANT OF JESUS CHRIST SHALL PROSPER!

What God has blessed cannot be cursed!

There was a prophet in the Bible book of Numbers who found this out the hard way. His name was Balaam. Balaam was not a godly prophet: he was actually a type of sorcerer for hire. He was well-versed in casting spells and curses and had accumulated a reputation as someone who knew how to use the occult powers to get things done.

One day he was hired to curse the people of Israel. And he tried. But God warned him not to put a curse on the people because God had already blessed them. Listen to what Balaam told those who hired him to curse Israel:

"How can I curse those whom God hasn't cursed? How can I condemn those whom the LORD hasn't condemned?" Numbers 23:8

"God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Behold, I have received a command to bless; When He has blessed, then I cannot revoke it." Numbers 23:19-20

God is so powerful that He'll even enlist wicked occultists to work for Him when He wants to!

Now here is where witches strategy comes into play: Balaam knew that he couldn't curse God's people because God would get him. So he devised an effective strategy that he taught to Israel's enemy which was this:

Get the people of Israel themselves to commit sexual sin; that way they'll end up cursing themselves! And this is exactly what ended up happening!

"They were the ones who followed Balaam's advice and enticed the Israelites to be unfaithful to the LORD in the Peor incident, so that a plague struck the LORD's people." Numbers 31:16

"While Israel was staying in Shittim, the men began to indulge in sexual immorality with Moabite women, who invited them to the sacrifices to their gods. The people ate the sacrificial meal and bowed down before these gods." Numbers 25:1-2

"But I have a few complaints against you. You tolerate some among you whose teaching is like that of Balaam, who showed Balak how to trip up the people of Israel. He taught them to sin by eating food offered to idols and by committing sexual sin." Revelation 2:14

That one incident did more to hurt Israel than ten thousand curses or binding spells placed against them by witches. Sexual sin will always be the inroad taken by the devil to enter into the lives of believers and cause destruction.

So here's a quick recap: If witches cannot put a curse or a spell on you, expect them to try and lay a sex trap in your path! The Bible tells us not to be ignorant of Satan's devices. *2 Corinthians 2:11

This method has worked against God's people since the days of old - it's still effective today.

So don't be surprised if you find yourself overwhelmed suddenly by sexual temptation. Don't be shocked if you start having 'wet dreams' and other such activity while you're asleep. This is nothing more than the enemy's attempt to get you over into sexual sin. Your flesh is being stirred up so you can let down your guard and indulge a little.

And that's all it will take to bring a curse upon your own life.

Fight against sexual temptation through fasting and prayer. Fill your mind with God's Word: let it be the last thing you read or listen to before closing your eyes for the night. Turn off secular television or movies, especially secular music if it's stirring up old lusts within you. Keep yourself pure and your garments of holiness unspotted from sin.

God will always help us. But we must give Him something to work with: our willpower. As long as we are in this world we will have temptation. But those temptations are no match for the power of the Overcomer that resides within our heart!

"I have told you all this so that you may have peace in Me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world." John 16:33

May God bless, strengthen and keep you on this journey.
