I consider disney's "do you believe in magic" the first step in boiling the frog.

Boiling the frog is done like this, you put a frog in water then heat it up,the frog won't notice,so it dies by getting boiled. But if you put a frog in boiling water,it will jump out.

Just give us alittle bit at a time,it seems harmless enough.Kids see disney shows and movies with a magic theme to it and they'll think "wow, his dream came true because of magic",because that's how it ends up.Harry Potter is next in line for boiling.

The frog dies in boiling water...

Soooo, if there is more magic in media (even though magic has been around as a concept longer than your religion) kids will start putting hexes on their parents or engulfing a church into a demonic void?

This seems to be what they are implying with the whole boiling water thingy. Anyone else sick of this demonstration? I have seen it used a million times and it doesn't get any less annoying each time.. Heck, I've never even heard that frogs really will boil to their deaths. I would try it, but it would be an awful thing to do.

See, now I remember that slogan in McDonald's commercials.

"Do you believe in magic,
And I hope you do;
Cuz there'll always be a guy wearing big red shoes..."

The Bible sounds like Disney to me!
Except that Disney is far more believeable.
Let's face it, christianity is a mickey-mouse religion with oceans of blood on its hands.

Right... so place your hand in a pot of cold water and turn it on. I'm sure you wont feel a thing as the temperature slowly changed.
Stupid analogy fool

Who is allowing or advocating boiling frogs to death? Cruelty to animals is still cruelty no matter if they can feel it or not. This is similar to that Web based game Frogs in a Blender. It's all just sick.

Magic only has power if you decide to believe in it. This along with demons, faith healing, posession, spirits, mystical experiences and all that bunk. I choose to live in reality and not worry about such silly things.

That's right. Kids need to be taught the truth; that God created the world in six days, that people were made out of mud, that two of every animal fit on one boat, that God gets jealous of construction skills, that a gesture of his love is asking an old man to kill his only child...

Look at that--only halfway through the first book of the bible and I'm already sick of this game.

So...even if they use magic in a metaphorical sense...as in "This is the most magical evening of my life"...it's still satanic and evil? Is it so hard for you to allow your children to actually experience joy?

See, that's why you guys aren't getting any new converts. You bring out the batshit crazy stuff right away. You have to warm the water up slowly. You gotta learn from scientology. They hold off on mentioning the alien overlord at first. You guys have to hold off on mentioning the grave poping zombie rapture where only a small number of people fly up into the sky and everyone else, no matter how good a person they might have been, gets to burn in hell for eternity. No rational person is going to buy that. You basically claim that God loses when it comes to the number of souls gathered and that an all loving God believes in eternal torture. It makes no sense. Why would anyone worship a torture loving god that loses to satan?

Um.. hey why do you worship a torture loving god that loses to satan? Or are he and satan on the same team? That would make more sense. The game is fixed beforehand. Still makes your god an evil bastard though.

Do you believe in magic...

Pretty sure that was mcdonalds, not Disney.

I'm sorry you are too fucking stupid to differentiate between a light shining on the wall and the physical world.

Actually no I'm not.

Retarded shit like you make great comic relief.

Relax Deaga. Just because someone believes in something doesn't make it real.

Oh wait, that thought doesn't make you relax, does it?

So...instilling a sense of wonder and happiness in chldren wil lead to them sacrificing babies to curse their parents.

Yeah, that path is pretty clear and straightforward.

By the way, isn't dreams coming true kinda the whole point of y'all praying?

Deaga, the "do you believe in magic" line was from a television ad. Ads exist to push products, and pushing products is the essence of capitalism. According to your lot, Jesus loved capitalism, so why don't you?

Or are you a commie?

"Harry Potter is next in line for boiling"

>implying that a fictional character can be 'boiled' [/4chan]

Daniel Radcliffe has already appeared naked on stage in London's West End, in a production of "Equus".

1- The run was an immediate sellout. Most of the audience(s) were women. You do the maths, Derpa.

2- The Critics - who can destroy a stage play/musical's run with a word - were universal in their praise of the play, to say nothing of Mr. Radcliffe's performance.

3- Daniel Radcliffe's reputation - despite appearing naked on stage - is intact. Spotless. He can do no wrong.

4- JK Rowling is one of the richest authors on the planet.

5- ?????

6- You jelly, Derpa.
