Wasn't Scully being a Catholic a part of several storylines, a point of contention between her and Mulder?

7/1/2006 3:20:01 AM

Wolight

Remember ssdexecutor, Catholics aren't true Christians...

Besides I doubt he's seen the show anyway.

Wait so Scully couldn't see the \"truth\" about Aliens? Wouldn't the existence of such creatures go against the teachings of the bible?

Meanwhile, your jesus is out using Human beings who EVOLVED as his personal little ARMY? Speaking of which, what exactly is the difference between their powers and magic other than the words? Don't fundies often say that Humans having god-like powers is their problem with magic and so wouldn't that then describe the other nonsense you spend too much time parked in front of?

Worst...Fan-fic...Ever...

As a dyed in the wool X-Files geeker I can vouch that both Fox Mulder and Dana Scully were Christians. Mulder was borderline but Scully was pretty devout. When the episode was a capsule story involving a Judeo-Christian supernatural element she was usually the focus of it. She wore a gold crucifix necklace with character significance, the details of which currently escape me.

Lord Zeruel

^If iIrecall correctly, her mother gave Scully and her sister necklaces during the last Christmas they had before she died.

Mulder was agnostic/atheist, with the slight implication that his family was Jewish. (Again, not so much said as implied.) Scully was a fairly diehard Catholic, and there were quite a few episodes that played off her faith.

Please get your X-Files straight before you make retarded analogies, your in the twilight zone.

This guy really neesd a reality check...

the only reason why the power rangers never lost, is because they had JESUS in their life

I was in the same class with a guy when I was 10 who wasn't allowed to watch the power rangers because that guy in the tube was god and the power rangers were angels and they fought against the devil and his minions.

At the end of the first season episode \"Conduit\" Mulder ends up in a Christian church to contemplate his sorrows. I'm pretty sure he's ended up there a few other times. Let's say that's still up in the air.
