satan is using tattoos today to mark us for himself and to also hold us in place at whatever point in our lives we may be. Basically just like a bookmark holds our place in a book, body markings serve the same purpose of bondage. Now the light in this is that, I believe with my whole heart that God is greater than this, and eventhough we made the mistake of getting tattoos while we were in darkness, now that we are in the light He will physically and spirtually remove these marks or "bookmarks" from our bodies and our souls that are rightly His. Now I say all this granted, that you consider my words and please don't get another tattoo, for this would be a conscious and calculated sin you will be comitting, which in turn will only serve tp grieve our Father God, our Savior Jesus, and the Holy Spirit in us.

God removes converts' tattoos? ooookay.
What about those of us who are not Christians, but have no tattoos? Do we get to sneak into Heaven?

\"He will physically and spirtually remove these marks or \"bookmarks\" from our bodies and our souls that are rightly His.\"
God is a dermatologist who does laser tattoo removal? How odd.

I've known several Xians with tattoos, including a couple of WWII vets who are now dead. They didn't get tattooed while \"in darkness,\" they were in the navy. Did Jesus send them to hell because they had tattoos?
If you are going to cite Old Testament prohibitions concerning tattoos, you would seem to be obligated to adhere to all Old Testament prohibitions. How are you doing with pork and shellfish? Clothing of mixed fibers? Stoned any disobedient children lately? Are you going to have your daddy publically display your bloody sheets after your wedding night?

Does that weird Henna stuff count, or other temporary tattoos? How about when they rubberstamp your hand at some museums or amusement parks to prove you've paid?

In other words, I believe with my gut [thinking is for sissies!] that the all-powerful being I worship as the creator of the universe can overcome some ink on a person's skin.

God's big on this sort of thing though.
What of the mark of cain? It was either skin colour or a birthmark of some sort that 'marked' you as a descendant of evil cain.
And the verse about people with withered limbs and crushed testes not being able to get into heaven.
Then of course the non-blemished animals for sacrificing.....

*Considers getting a tattoo just to piss off the imaginary sky pixie. Rejects the idea and instead commits one of two million other bullshit sins.*

Well shit. A former friend of mine would be shocked to hear this about the big cross he had tattooed on his arm.
