Saying Bill Nye is a scientist is like saying the cast of Grey's Anatomy are real doctors.

Saying Danielle Butchered has a credible opinion is like saying that Applejack is a fashion critic.
And at least the latter would acknowledge that Maud Pie has a Rocktorate.
But can you tell the difference between reality and fiction , Dan? Just ask Ken Ham's arse: what's left of it.
He's an engineer who enjoys learning & spreading information. Don't recall ever hearing him claim to be an actual scientist, unlike most apologists who eagerly cite their "degrees" from Trailor Park University. In spite of the heavy dose of scientific knowledge needed by his field, he still acknowledges the difference between actively pursuing new knowledge and simply using what is already known.
@Sister of battle: I haven't seen the show yet, but these are the most common criticisms I've heard.
1. As creativerealms said, his show doesn't contain a lot of science. Rather than examining the evidence for issues such as climate change and evaluating contrary arguments, he merely dismisses & ridicules panelists (such as the pro-nuclear guy) who disagree with him. This results in claims that he's merely pandering to people who already agree with him rather than truly trying to convince anyone who may be ignorant of the issues at hand.
2. The "Ice Cream Sexuality" segment is meant to teach that conversion therapy is bad, but it accidentally gives the message that LGBT people are all horny rapists & straight people can be converted to bisexuality/pansexuality (when vanilla tries to convert the other flavors to vanilla, they pressure him into participating in a gay orgy).
3. "Sex Junk" is unanimously considered a badly written & produced song even by those who otherwise defend the show. Along with the show's general tone, this results in criticisms that the show's target audience is poorly defined, being too explicit for children & too childish for adults.
I'm sure there's more, but those are the most common criticisms I've seen.
He's a leaned man, puts him leagues ahead of your born to money politicians, inheritors of companies and certainly moron priest marketing myth. I'm guessing those are your go to guys, usually are with comments like this.
Confused?
