Lady Checkmate's headline: "State of Kentucky Ordered to Pay Legal Fees in Kim Davis Case"
Praise God!
I pray more Christians are bold and stand against sin and filth in Jesus name.
Please continue to pray for Sister Kim.

Don't forget to RECOMMEND. Lets get the Truth out so that Light may shine bright in this dark place and Jesus Christ may be glorified.Even if the discussion is closed, please still RECOMMEND.

The earlier responses here seem misinformed. What the court ordered was that the state, rather than the county, had to pay the legal fees of the gay couples that sued Davis, since the state had a responsibility to put a strop to her and din't. The Thumper here completely misrepresented the facts on her post, using quote mining to make it look like the state was paying Davis' fees.
Yes, because between paying the legal fees of the people who sued Davis and the money it lost on the Ark Park boondoggle, the one thing the state needs is to pay out even more legal fees for intolerant Christian public employees.
If god is forcing that, I bet taxpayers are not praising him. Do you pray that to stand against sin people will welcome refugees, start caring for the least of these, start being hospitable, render onto Caesar what is his and render onto god what is his, hate their parents but cleave onto their wife, etc?
Then you wonder why those fundie Christain bakers in Northern Ireland lost their appeal last year?
Meanwhile, that legal Sword of Damocles still hangs over Kim Il-Davis's head. Like those bakers, she is still legally forced to serve married couples-to-be who just happen to be of the same gender.
Checkmate, Lady.
But whatever helps you sleep at night, eh? Thinking that is a so-called 'victory'? Nice coping mechanism you have there.
Reality wins .
And as for the taxpayers of Kentucky? Should they hear about this, you will have made a powerful enemy.
This is the problem with fundie activism.
They violate the law, their job description/perimeters, peoples Constitutional rights: Taxpayers lose.
She's mistaking this outcome as it's for the people Davis refused permits for but in the end it doesn't matter financially. It taxpayers that have to pay for her violating the law and pretending she had that authority. Any case of Christian grandstanding like this the taxpayers lose.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
