Quote# 13110

You got it backwards.

Creationism is based upon science, reason and tons of evidence.

Evolution is based on the blind acceptance of superstitions and fairy tales.

How about another BIZZARRO ALTERNATE UNIVERSE Award from the man who said, \"Phelps is a liberal\"?

7/18/2006 11:59:57 AM

sorry, award already given!

7/18/2006 12:04:32 PM

And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is how you bullspit and polish your stupid into a mirror!

7/18/2006 12:09:33 PM

Tiny Bulcher

Oh, good. You'll be able to tell us what this evidence is, then.

*and waits*

*waits some more*

Is after 2,000 years a good time to pack in waiting?

The courts have ruled, objectively, that creationism is based upon religion. Without divine revelation, you would not have creationism.

7/18/2006 12:51:56 PM

There, I've made more sense then you.

7/18/2006 12:53:24 PM

Proof you say? Evidence you say? Reason you say? Evolution is but based on blind acceptance of superstitions and fairy tales?

Okay. Explain please.

Y'know... that or you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about and/or failed English I.

Ah life makes more sense after reading the thread - He's a Kent Hovind zombie who was defending him in a thread titled; \"Kent Hovind is a lying sack of feces.\" Just knowing that he's too stupid to think up this nonsense on his own makes the world seem a little less bleak.

7/18/2006 1:21:40 PM

Redhunter - you made my day in a very sick way.

7/18/2006 1:42:18 PM

*dies laughing*

Oh. My. F*cking. God.

This is getting weird. That's, what, the fourth or fifth thing submitted in the last few days alone that DIRECTLY contradicts reality on every point? How in the heck do these people manage to live in this world? They would be trying to drink air and breathe water!

Isn't it a frightening thought that people like CRASH may actually drive, vote and breed?

7/18/2006 2:41:53 PM

CRASH! goes the clue train.

7/18/2006 2:51:56 PM

Reality must really suck for some people. Tell us CRASH, what's it like to live in oblivion? I really enjoy travelling and I might like to visit sometime.

\"You know NOTHING!!\"
-paraphrase Sgt. Schultz from Hogan's Heros

Dante's Virgil

Got any closed head injuries from that CRASH there, buddy? You know, they have programs to help with that.

7/18/2006 4:09:54 PM

Come on then, where's this reason and tons of evidence? Oh no, I let myself in for some fundy logic and Bible verses. I guess I'll go back to my fairy tales and blind acceptance of being told what is right.

\"Pot Calling the Kettle Award?\"

7/18/2006 5:57:19 PM

David D.G.

Pot and Kettle Award is more appropriate for someone leveling deserved criticisms for traits that he himself shares. Speck and Plank Award is closer, but still suggests inherent flaws on the side of the one being criticized. This is more the sort of thing that suits a Mirror Award, and of the most literal sort, since he has got the polarity of things completely the reverse of reality here (and goes so far as to claim that WE have it backward!).

How about Asshat Of The Month!

7/18/2006 7:08:20 PM

Mal Renyolds

Actually, it's the other way around. Creationism is based on the things you say evolution is based on. Evolution is based on science and reason. I'm wondering if this deserves another \"Alternate Bizzaro Universe\" award (also I would say most of the things in Kent Hovinds blog about his legal problems deserve it too)?

7/18/2006 7:25:45 PM

Hmmmm....I am a Christian who doesn't really bother with creationism vs. evolution at all. Evolution makes more sense to me personally, since there is so much bloody evidence for it about, but the fact that man evolved doesn't prevent me from believing in God in any way.

But from a purely objective perspective... Neanderthalls are WAY easier to believe in than a magical, invisible man with a handful of mud.

7/18/2006 7:33:11 PM

ok, if jesus taught in parables and metaphors, why can't these fundies grasp the concept that genesis is a parable and metaphor.
