No, I think you'll find that the Boy Scouts were 'persecuted', which is apparently your word for 'pointed at and pouted at', for denying anyone the right to participate due to choice of signifigant other... just as at one point was necessary to do regarding race. Not that such a statement will have any effect on your views, as you've made it clear in other posts that you'd like to see people of other races gotten rid of too. Mental health professionals reversed the classification of homosexuality as a mental illness OF THEIR OWN VOLITION. And more than 30 years later, not one piece of solid evidence has come forward to suggest they were wrong.

Do you have a viable source for that quote, SPark2001? The Boy-Man that Baden-Powell wrote letters expressing interest in seeing photos of nude boys, and was known to enjoy watching boys skinny dip. He also made it a requirement that Boy Scouts under his care should bathe outside naked.
There has never been any evidence Baden-Powell engaged in any such conducts with his charges.

SParkie, it was a matter of semantics. The word pedophile has been in the news a lot of late, and used to indicate pederasts (incorrectly it appears).
I stand corrected.
It was enlightening for me to do a little digging into the matter. I hadn't realized the old Lord had a penchant for nude young males, and I had been involved with the Scouting movement for a number of years with my children.

Gays are about as perverted as straights, as we are more similar than we are different.
Homosexuals don't want special protection, stupid, they want to be included in the same protection as the rest of us have. The one who turned the institution of marriage into a joke was the cake company that refused to cater to a gay wedding, but had no problem catering to a dog wedding a couple of minutes later.
