What other freedo is there than freedom from all restraints? If you are restrained in your actions then you are not free.
Look, if the US was run by an autocratic authoritarian, we'd have no abortions, no gay marriages, no drug use, no prostitution.
Depends on the person in charge. What if you get a gay dictator? He won't kill people for being gay. And what makes you think that there aren't abortions or prostitution in China or Russia?
As long as people are alive those things will happen. In China people get killed for being a mamber of the wrong political party andthere organs are sold to the highest bidder.
I bet you would like living in such a country.

Holy shit. You are so far off the mark on EVERYTHING you have stated that I will not bother to list them independantly, instead I will ask you what country in the world doesn't have drug use and prostitution? *crickets chirping*
You are homesick for a dictator?
You are absolutely insane if you believe anything you have posted here.

What a moron. We'd still have abortions. They'd just be disguised as \"miscarraiges\" or carried out with coat hangers.

a) stop trying to redefine 'freedom' as 'bondage'.
b) there isn't a country in the world that doesn't have drug use and prostitution. Hell, there's drug use and prostitution in the bible.
c) If the US was run by YOU, it might have no legal abortions, no gay marriages, no legal prostitution, and no legal drug use (but let me guess, you still want your coffee and beer, eh?)... but an 'autocratic authoritarian' isn't guaranteed to make the same decisions YOU would. That's the problem with dictators.
d) Government. GOV-ERN-MENT. You can type 'strongly' twice, but can't actually spell one of the words you seem to obsess over?
e) On behalf of the Prevention Of Punctuation Abuse team, I would like to inform you that you are no longer allowed to come within 20 feet of a question mark.
Normally, I assume that the bad grammar and horrible spelling and such is just part of the process... but it's obvious that this asshat CAN actually write well, he just chooses not to. >.< Where do they get this idea that decent English is somehow forbidden when posting on the 'net?

The Fundie Word Redefinition Program is in operation with Ply's new idea of \"freedom.\"
No government anywhere, for any significant period of time, has been able to eliminate prostitution or drug use. Also, even when abortions were illegal in the U.S. they still happened. They were often poorly done and unsafe, but they still happened.
Ply assumes that the \"autocratic authoritarian\" in charge of the government would have Ply's \"values.\" Perhaps the autocrat would declare all abortions would be free, all recreational drugs legal, gay marriage a requirement for public office, a chicken in every pot and two prostitutes in every garage.

\"... people look at freedom as \"freedom from all restraints, \" which clearly isn't freedom.\"
So, freedom from things or freedom to do things isn't freedom? Got it.
\"Look, if the US was run by an autocratic authoritarian, we'd have no abortions, no gay marriages, no drug use, no prostitution.\"
Nor would you have any of that what's it called ... oh yeah, FREEDOM.
You seriously need to pick up a history book and find out why a system like you're describing does not work.

CNN.com might think he was joking, but I don't. It was probably one of the few times when he wasn't lying.

I'm a firm supporter of China and Russia.
China's barely communist anymore. Russia has been a capitalist democracy for the past fifteen years.
Look, if the US was run by an autocratic authoritarian, we'd have no abortions, no gay marriages, no drug use, no prostitution.
Wrong. Even when those things are illegal people will do them.
You're psychotic.

Weeeelllll ... not really.
I've heard that the Communist Party is still alive and well in Russia, and that life can be unpleasant for you there if you're not a Communist Party member yourself.
It's like, the Soviet Union is dead, Communism is dead, the cold war is long over ... but the Party lives on.

No drugs in Soviet Russia? ROTFLMAO, does this shit-for-brains have any idea of the level of alcoholism in they had? (newsflash, dimwit, booze is a drug) And you'd think that even an USian fundie would know that the countries of the former Sovietic block are currently some of the biggest exporters of prostitutes...
