Although the absence of evidence should never be taken as the evidence of absence, I'm certain that the rule can be ignored this time around.
Also, these people need to learn that nobody will take them seriously if they can't at least use one language properly.
I'm content to live my life the way I want without the need for a mythical supreme being to threaten me into respecting others and treating everyone fairly.
This is more than I can say for the likes of you, who seem to take sadistic glee at the thought of people who don't measure up to your standards being tortured for eternity by your "just" God.
Have a nice life, moron.
...i gotta agree with probabilityzero, its fun having somehow like him in our forums...god is real? yeah, in fact i had an arm wrestling match with him earlier this morning and he can't fight because his hands haven't mended yet...darn Romans for crucifying him by nailing his hands...lmao...

TRANSLATION: I don't need proof that I'm wasting my life on something that doesn't exist because I have shunned all outside discussion, eliminated reason from my life and I have a hunch that I'm right. So there, Nyah.
lol u suk rofl :D:D:D
That is probably the single most accurate rendition of the meaning of shadow9's post so far.
I don't need faith or evidence because the burden of proof is on you. You haven't provided evidence, and seem openly proud of it. Therefore, we can conclude that you're an irrational twit, your god isn't real, and hell doesn't exist. *Grin*
I still don't get how people can just believe something with no evidence. How do they believe it? Why, someone told them, of course. How did that person believe it? Someone told him. How did the very first person to believe it come to the idea? Either the very first person was on several milligrammes of something that today would be illegal, or they actually DID have evidence. If the first believer needed evidence, why should anyone else do without it?

I'm guessing (s)he said this at the end of an argument?
Also, I vote for "Fundamentalism in a nut shell" award!
