Leave the \"proof\" for those who don't believe in God. We Christians don't want anything to do with it, as we walk by faith, not by sight.\"
He just believes that there will be no cars coming from either side so he can always cross safely. Looking whether cars are actually coming is for those filthy heathens. God will protect the rightious from the evil carnage conveyed unto humanity by those metal monstrosities.

Faith is BETTER than proof? Then stick with faith healing and avoid modern medicine, which is entirely proof-oriented.

I tried... oh I tried, but damn. I'm reminded why I stay out of debates of intelligent design versus anything else.
Ah well. At least I have my games.
The world around you is built on proof. Not faith. By people who said \"I'm not going to settle for this answer. It doesn't make sense.\" Whether it be people in reaction the church or science. And these people pioneered the world we live in.
Give up your car if you think proof is worthless in comparison to faith..
Give up your medicine if you think proof is worthless in comparison to faith., ironically give to you through the use of evolutionary theory.
Give up your computer if you think proof is worthless in comparison to faith..
Give up your large buildings, give up your house, give up everything around you and go live wild in the forest. If proof is worthless in comparison to faith.
Whenever some one finally says \"Okay. Here's a valid point.\" He just ignores it.

If just once one of them could come up with something that was even close to thought provoking, they might get some of us to consider their argument. But this is so ridiculous, all I can do is roll my eyes a say \"Whatever.\"

If one eschews proof in favor of faith, one is free to believe anything and everything no matter how absurd.

Funny, the richest man in the world doesn't follow this concept.
Bill Gates is worth tens of billions of dollars. He could buy a country. And I'm not talking some little nation with a GNP lower than what the average American takes home in a month, I'm talking a decent sized nation. And he just so happens to be an atheist, led by facts and proof, not \"belief\" in something that is ridiculous.

Man might prove that black is white and get run over at a zebra crossing, but AV1611VET definitely accomplishes the same thing on faith alone.

If you walk by faith then how do you determine which particular wild improbable claim to have faith in?

How exactly is it supposed to be up to those who do not believe to provide proof when those who do believe always change it so finding proof is always out of our reach?
Early on man considered spirits to be all around. They were in the ground, in the trees, and in the water that they would drink. Then, as civilization grew, they become further away. Then sun above, the mountains over there, across the water where we cannot go, and so on. Then it's in the stars above (the heavens) and finally today, can you even describe to me where exactly your higher power lives. In another realm? Up there somewhere? Beyond the universe? Tell us where to look, wait for us to prove it wrong, wait 1,000 years, and you will find people claiming that the truth is in some other unreachable location.
Oh and what about hell? Are you convinced that it exists within the Earth or is the idea that it is below you only metaphorical? As is we have only gone down a few miles into the Earth, but that will one day change and if you believe it exists down there somewhere and it is not found where will it go then?

\"We Christians have something better than \"proof\", we have \"faith\". Okie-doke?\"
Unbased claim? CHeck
Faulty logic? Check
Condescending attitude? Check
Anybody who uses the phrase 'okie-doke' WILL believe anything.

I think I saw that movie. That was the one where they built an earth-borer ship out of \"Unobtainium\" and had to kick-start the Outer Core's rotation by detonating atomic bombs in it, right?
