Quote# 13399

[There are only two kinds of Muslims. The faithful and the backsliden. Those that society has deemed "radical" are merely the Muslims that hold fast and true to the Koran.]

Absolutely 100% correct. A more appropriate term would be a fundamental Muslim. They adhere to the teachings of the Koran the way we adhere to the bible.

Yahweh: This is not the \"Least Appropriate Analogy Ever\". It's actually quite to the point. However, it IS the \"Least Helpful Analogy Ever\".

And you see what a world of shit it has gotten us into, don't you? The biggest thing fueling this between Islam and the Judeo/Christian world is irreconcilable similarities. This would be a lot better place if both sides would just shut the fuck up.

Oh, man, you've almost got it! Now finish connecting those dots you've just identified -- and then try not to cause too much collateral damage when you find that you've identified yourself as equivalent to al Quaida.

Read the responses. It's a Deathy by Irony Overdose kind of thread. Islamic fundamentalism bad, Christian fundamentalism good.

Or, maybe it would be more appropriate to call you \"radical Xians.\"

@Papabear,

It's admitted to on this thread!

It's like saying \"radical Christians\" to describe those of us who believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and who believe fully in Jesus Christ who came to us in the flesh.

Oh, wait--there IS already a term for \"radical Christians\", they just call it slightly differently: \"fundamentalists.\"

My eyes have been recently opened to how incredibly demonized we fundamentalist Christians are in America today.

If they really adhered the teachings of the bible that much, they would be out there with the muslims killing all infidels before turning on each other in one massive last batle royale.

What makes you think they're not doing this already?
