Moopet: You got me. I've wondered that myself. If somebody were to rave against, say, mainstream Christianity (or any other mainstream facet of American life, such as sports, rock music, or fast food) the way she does against evolution, liberals, and other such targets, by using virtually nothing but constant untruths and illogic as she does, such a person normally would be locked up -- or at least kept as far away from a microphone or printing press as possible. Yet for some reason, her particular brand of hate fantasy seems to be wildly popular. I really don't get it.

This sure sounds strange coming from a woman who has a reputation for screwing (as in having sex) just about anything which moves.
Frankly, Ann — I'd feel a lot better about Bill Clinton babysitting my kids than I'd feel knowing you were visiting somewhere in my neighborhood.
By the way — there are lots and lots of things the conservative media makes sure aren't reported — and Ann Coulter's profligate promiscuity is one of them. She ought to consider prostitution: no use giving away all that sex for free!

Living in the UK as I do, Ann Coulter has only recently come to my attention (I saw a rather disinterested Jeremy Paxman interview her for about five minutes on Newsnight...I got the impression that he thought she was an idiot, didn't want to give her the oxygen of publicity and was only interviewing her to fulfil some contractual obligation).
She only says the things she says to stoke up fires under her rabid demographic and increase book sales, right?
I think she's hilarious.

Damn, she is one skinny woman. Not normal skinny, or even eating disorder skinny, but a new kind of skinny that involved selling muscles to the black market.
Although her voice tried to pierce itself into my concentration (many times; it's so damned annoying), I couldn't take my eyes off of the weight she attached to her foot to keep her from sailing off into the jet stream.
