Of course it doesn't have a victim, just as murder has no victims. I don't hear any complaints from people that have been killed about why they "choose" to do it.
But hey, your a barbarian and it is pretty obvious that you don't care about anything more significant than getting your own pro-death way.

Tak! Long time no see! I agree with your point on the Barbarian, but give me a good sorceror any day. Sure, the hit die sucks, and you can't hit the broad side of a barn, but nobody in their right mind argues with fireballs. NOBODY.

Apart from that nonsense, it takes a special kind of stupid to claim that those who have been meaninglessly killed in cold blood aren't victims.

I like games such as D&D, but refuse to touch the "official" version. Sure, you can learn magic; try joining the Order of Isel. Don't expect to be "a sorcerer," though. How many hit dice do you get? None; I don't do hit dice. And if you even mention the words "alignment" or "chaotic neutral," I will expell you from the game.
