Quote# 1354

No, they just spouted some Athiest dogma, which has very little backing and were insulting. AKA, if you question myths, why don't you question your own? Again, I reiterate, what evidence is there that Atheism is correct or the truth? I would like to comment that for every time someone mentions the Spanish Inquisition, I will reply with Pol Pot, 2 million people, Stalin, millions of people, Mao Se-dong, millions of people.

How can one question skepticism? If you mean I have to consider the alternate to it, i.e. the benefits of dogmatic thinking, trust me, I have.

So nonreligious people killing people in the name of fanatically held dogma
somehow counters highly religious people killing people in the name of much older fanatically held dogma?

And this is a point against dogma-killing skepticism how?

I doubt very much that those victims of communism were targeted for their christian beliefs.

The victims of the SI, however were definetly targeted for lack thereof.

first of all it's Mao Zedong jackass, also, eroding your nonexistent arguments is only insulting if you just want a person to hear and believe without question

That's nice. Now can we have an answer that actually addresses the original question, please, which is:

if you question myths, why don't you question your own?

"I would like to comment that for every time someone mentions the Spanish Inquisition, I will reply with Pol Pot, 2 million people, Stalin, millions of people, Mao Se-dong, millions of people."

And we can reply with Mussolini, Franco, Pavelic, the dark ages, witch trials, kkk, nazi groups, Hitler, and others.

What evidence is there that Atheism is correct or the truth?
Now that's a long discussion with arguments on both sides since the dawn of humankind.
I live in a free country where I don't have to be forced by law to believe in Bugs Bunny.
Even though there are pictures of him and he's
mentioned and shown in plenty of books.
I have the right to NOT believe in him if I don't want to.
