I can physically say I beleive in the Christian God, go to church, read the Bible, etc. But in my head I'll know I don't beleive. And I have enough common courtesy to not waste space in a church I don't care about.

You give your god too much credit. He hasn't done a thing for anyone, ever.
Healing? That's about the only legit* positive paranormal event I can think of. The stronger myths, and the visitations, favor the Earth-mother.
Jesus was good, but he was like the leftovers from the Axial era about 4-5 centuries earlier.
But your god is an asshole, and will never improve.

All 6718 (to date) one-true gods are man-made.
As I recall over 35000 jews suffered the self-same fate at the hands of the Roman "civilisation", so what's so special about Yeshua Ben Miriam (Jesus - the favourite prophet of Mohammed incidently).
