Quote# 1369

And guess what? Even if there were life on other planets people would die the second they were created on there because almost every planet doesn't have the suitable living conditions that Earth has.

If there was life on other planets it would be designed/evolved to exist in the conditions on that planet, dipstick.

If there were life on other planets, it would be on a planet that had suitable conditions for life. Life wouldn't arise on a planet that didn't have conditions that make life possible.

How is that not immeadiately obvious?

I mean, I always thought that the weak anthropic principle was sort of stupid. We exist, therefore it must be possible for us to exist. I mean, duh! I always thought that was so blatantly obvious that it didn't even deserve to be called a principle.

I now realize there is a reason that the weak anthropic principle exists. Some people actually are too stupid to see that for something to exist it has to be possible for it to exist on their own.

Wow.

Some hundred million years ago, the living coditions on Earth suddenly (relatively speaking) became unsuitable for most life at that time. The extremely poisonous gas of oxygen emerged on the scene, and killed off most life. The few who were left could then prosper and adapt (aka evolve) as they had so much more environment all of a sudden.

There isn't intelligent life on this planet.
