Well, let's look at my life: no incest, never raped, didn't do any drugs until uni (but first knew I was gay when in junior high). Never had a coach egging me on. I am not sick or in need of professional help. As to society working against me, all I have to do is look around and see that that is not true. (Only religious extremists are doing that.) My life is not wrong - I wake up, go to work, pay my taxes, spend time with the people I love, etc. It all sounds pretty normal. I do agree that some things are right (like being tolerant and open-minded) and some things are wrong (like being bigoted and ignorant). And standing up to those who are wrong is, indeed, the right thing to do. There, I’ve had my say. Have a nice day.

I had a lesbian friend in college. She had never been raped or molested by anyone, and she CERTAINLY wasn't "coached" to be gay.

Not if your opinion of "wrong" happens to include behavior that is not harmful to any others. You're still welcome to tell them what you think, but you don't have the right to enforce it on them unless they are actually harming another.

Well, in that case it's induced but the gay people have no choice, it was somebody else's choice and they can't be blamed. Is there anywhere in the Bible who says that you have to hate somebody for what he or she has ultimately come to be with no opportunity to choose?
And by the way, if it were true, why are all drug users straight, or all the rape victims straight or incest straight?, and I have met gay guys who nobody would think they were, so I am not keen to believe somebody did anything to them.
