Of course science says this is ok, it HAS to because it is the ONLY way to condone evolution. But the FACT remains when you test the fossil record, you are testing the fossil record. You are NOT testing evolution. To test evolution, you have to test evolution. To call something a theory, you have to test it. You cannot. Therefore it does not meet the requirements of a theory.
