That charactor doesn't look so satanic to me, whatever satanic means. Most of the images of what christians consider to be satanic comes from other religions anyway. Japanese devils and demons have horns etc. just as most middle eastern ones do. Your bible doesn't say the devil is a red man with a goatee and pitchfork, this was an image concocted later. People see the devil in whatever they want.
As for you having been inside the bottomless pit of satan, you might need professional help.

That cartoon is high quality - I like the idea that super-powered wild animals roam the seas and countrysides, waiting to be captured and then actually LOVING that their slave masters put them to work in arena combat. Would we be able to bring back bear-baiting if we bred some with tentacles, laser-eyes and telepathy? I always figured it was only offensive to vegetarians, vegans and animal rights activists, but I guess the AUTHOR percieves Satan and his legions everywhere.

Another thing to consider-
Just as those of us in the west consider eastern religions to be \"mysterious,\" those in the east hold the same view of western religions.
This is why I personally believe that everyone who seriously wishes to discuss religion should take a world religions course from an accredited university.
