This groundbreaking documentary from Dr. Kennedy and Coral Ridge Ministries, looks into the chilling social impact of Darwin's theory of evolution -- and the mounting evidence that Darwin had it wrong on the origin of life.
This 60 minute special featuring Ann Coulter, author of Godless; Richard Weikart, author of From Darwin to Hitler, Lee Strobel, author of The Case for a Creator; Jonathan Wells, author of Icons of Evolution; Phillip Johnson, author of Darwin on Trial; Michael Behe, author of Darwin’s Black Box, and Ian Taylor, author of In the Minds of Men will show why evolution is a bad idea that should be discarded into the dustbin of history.

"Banishing" any science is a horrible, horrible idea. Even if evolution does turn out to be incorrect, it is still a worthy and valuable approach to study, if only to understand why it isn't true.
Don't you get that?
See, the difference between religion and science is that one is dogmatic and one is not. The recent weirdness about Pluto proves that science is not dogmatic! It changes and...ahem...evolves as more data is accumulated. Religion generally does not do that.
Religion generally states a dogmatic truth and then proceeds to deny any evidence to the contrary of that truth and (sadly) frequently simply creates spurious "truths" to uphold it. In religion like this, "truth" is absolute and unchangeable, regardless of whether or not the original decision about that "truth" was based on complete and accurate data.
Science, on the other hand, proposes a truth and then proceeds to systematically disprove that truth by acquiring more and more data about it. If the new data does not support the previous definition of "truth," then the truth is altered to concur with observed reality. In religion, reality is generally altered to concure with dogmatic truth.
See...science would be more than willing to discard evolution, if only there was some shred of data that disproved it. But all of the data strengthens it!
If creationists really want to defeat evolutionism, they will get out there and find the evidence that disproves it. But wait...then they would be scientists...and they can't have that, can they.
The fact that Ann Coulter is allowed air time speaks volumes. She has shown us time and time again what a complete moron she is. Behe? For his value as an expert I suggest reading the judge's decision at the Dover PA trial. He couldn't have been a better witness for the anti-ID-in-school forces. The others I don't know about, nor do I really care. The aforementioned people are enough for me to judge the soundness of the arguments that will be 'presented'.
To Benny: What debate? This will only be a bash-the-strawman-fest.
So a special featuring A Loner Cunt, some ad-hominem tossing dipshit (I am aware of the hypocracy!), some fundie, and another fundie.... These will sway me how?
Fun fact: Hitler was a Christian, secular nations have a lower crime and murder rate than this theocracy, and the greatest philanthropists are atheists.
This is fucking ridiculous, blaming Darwin for Hitler :( Without Einstein, there wouldn't be an A-bomb... In fact, without Jesus, there wouldn't be an Inquisition or all these fucking stupid fundie quotes... Point being, just because stupid people use their discoveries/theories/teachings for evil purposes, that doesn't mean the discoveries/theories/teachings were wrong...
Dr. Kennedy and Coral Ridge Ministries A historical revisionist.Ann Coulter A professional rabid dog.Richard Weikart A revisionist historian and propagandist for the Discovery InstitutePhillip Johnson A professional pseudoscientist and propagandist for the Discovery Institute.Michael Behe A professional village idiot and inept propagandist for the Discovery Institute.Ian Taylor A propagandist.
WTF is this? Some kind of twisted "Gilligan's Island" remake?
Or maybe "Gilligan's Island" meets "The Island of Dr. Moreau"...
I think it was around here that I finally gave up entirely on Ann Coulter.
Seriously... why do they keep attacking Darwin? Evolution's moved far enough away from him that they're kicking at rotting wood.
Oh, wait... that's the only level of science their "evidence" can do anything to. Anything after 120 years ago is too hard for them to deal with.
These people are beyond help. They rehash the same issues over, and over, and over, and over, and over again.
The Dover decision clearly established the fact of evolution in concise legal prose. It's just beyond belief at this point.
What social impact does the fact that species adapt to a changing environment through random mutations and natural selection have? If anything, it has a medical impact that we know this and can develop more efficient treatments.
Did Darwin say anything about the origin of life? Perhaps he thought that God created life. If he did, he would probably be wrong, yes.
Should we discard gravity, and its chilling social impact, along with evolution, perhaps?
And in other breaking news, literary experts believe that there is mounting evidence that Shakespeare didn't write cookery books.
I mean, honestly, what fucking idiot puts a panel together to debate something that we all know is not true to begin with?
From Darwin to Hitler? Hitler had Darwin's books burned, that's how much he liked them, for heaven's sake!!!
Michael Behe had his chance to show how wrong Darwin was, in court and everything.
Why didn't he take it?
Darwin's theory has nothing to do with the origin of life, and I wouldn't believe Ann Coulter if she told me that potato salad is made with potatoes.
I assume the rest of the brilliant minds (note: sarcasm) listed are of the same ignorant ilk.
Seven years now, and ToE is still as robust as ever and being studied and used throughout the developed world. I guess your "groundbreaking documentary" didn't work.
Maybe you should have called Eric Hovind.
Ann Coulter? Lee Strobel? Michael Behe?
No thanks, I'd rather stay home and hit my head against a wall for sixty minutes.
Confused?
