There were times (and, I think there is still a Jewish tradition) when once a woman got married she was required to cut her hair short as a way of showing fidelity to her husband.

Being a long hair pseudohippy type still at 52 I've heard this shit most my life. Decades ago I started replying about the Founding Fathers (of Canada and America) and many of the most famous leaders in history,,,,or,,,quite likely you great great grandfather.
