I still don't get why anyone is offended by what Gibson said. Israel (Jews) is in fact very much responsible, directly or indirectly, for all wars the U.S.

So he wasn't incorrect that 'Jews are responsible for all wars the U.S. is in', which is different than 'All Jews are responsible for war' which is what people seem to interpret it as.

Even if he did not mean \"all Jews,\" it's still a monstrous assertion that Jews have been responsible for all wars the U.S. has been in. If you want to be considered anything less than an anti-Semitic history revisionist, present some SOLID proof of that monstrous assertion.

He might have a point there. Judahism is the basis for christianity, and without christianity many of the wars in the USA would not have been fought. There wouldn't be any of these crackpots running around either, and to point the finger away from christians for a minute, there wouldn't be muslims (another child of judahism) bombing america.

Sorry, but when United States decided to fight in the Battle of Saratoga and in the Civil War, plus in the war against Spain in 1898, in the first world war, I don´t think there were many Jewish involved, LET ALONE A STATE WHICH DIDN´T EXIST. And not even a hint of suspicion, in a time of so much anti-semitism, even in more \"liberal\" sides.

Besides, why do we have to credit a guy who was drunk like a landlord?, the whole story went because he meant to offend the police officer who was on duty without offending the whole Catholic Irish community(he had actually an Irish last name not Jewish as he asked initially)to cover up his own shame. I think it is not very exemplary for his seven children.
