1. We allow free speech, to those who fit this community. This speech is unhindered. However, since free speech means that you have the right to speak, and if you aren't Christian and Republican, then you already have tons of ability to speak freely in every other place where we do not. Thus, only Christian Republicans have free speech here.
Well, they are within their rights to do so (though the bit about \"you already have this right in places where we do not\" is flat-out wrong, aside from places like Democratic Underground). Quite idiotic of them, though, and we have the right to point that out. And I would hope they'd have the decency not to call \"say what you like, as long as you agree with us\" \"free speech\".

So, apparently despite the fact that many of the most senior professionals, not to mention interesting writers, artists, and filmmakers, and our political leaders are over 50, people still don't really need to live beyond 50?
What about the kids who would never meet their grandparents, or the adults who could still benefit from their parents' love and advice? I know my adult relationship with my parents is amazingly fullfilling, and I dread their deaths.
But, naw. People don't really reproduce much after 50, so fuck 'em.
