[A thread debating whether women can be ordained. Someone mentioned Beth Moore: "If it looks like a pastor, feels like a pastor and smells like a pastor.... well, you know the rest"]

Doenst make it right. BTW, Pastors are Men, so a woman cant look liek one.

Look at Joel Osteen.

I, for one, couldn't imagine how a woman feels about the things said about them in teh bible. I could'nt justify the misogyny in that book in a million years.

I for one could not care less if the pastor is a man or a woman, but that's because I don't care at all. But as for the stuff it says a bout women, I can't imagine why she'd want to be a parishoner much less a pastor.

Jacob, some pastors ARE women, whether you like it or not. They are lawfully ordained by their superiors in the church, so they ARE pastors. Sorry, but you just don't have a choice in the matter. Deal with it.

Jacob Hall is correct. This is what the Bible, the inspired Word of Godâ„¢, teaches. If more Christians, actually read and followed their own Bible, then there would be fewer Christians.
Yeah!

Personally, I have been around women who had better hearts to be Pastors than many men. I see nothing wrong with it. There would probably be alot less homophobia and hatred in the church if more women were leaders.

Agreed. All you have to do is jetison those misogynist passages of the Bible, and you're good to go.

Joel Osteen could very easily pass as a woman if he wore a wig and dressed up.

That's right, if women got to dress up like women in church and shoot their mouth off, what would the men do?

Feels and smells like a pastor?

Just what denomination do you belong to that you'd know the answer to either of those?

Joel Osteen, for the mere fact of being a man, and only because of that, is called pastor. Your point?
