every law we have on the books is based on morality. It is all there to help us get along on a personal level. Speeding isn't wrong because it isn't good for a car to go that fast, it's wrong because of the personal safety of everyone involved...I dare you to find one law that dosen't have morals attached to it.

Yes, laws are based on someone's opinion (sometimes wrong) of morality.

When trying to figure out what's moral I rather use logic and reason than some book written thousands of years ago.

Every law we have can be reflected back to well before the Bible had any real influence. Cultures who stll aren't influenced by it have had those laws the longest.

In fact; A good case for Christianity holding us back on the laws and rights we enjoy in "free" societies can certainly be made
