Quote# 1513

Why not, you've submitted your wits to believing that an uncaused explosion just happened, allowing you to evolve from time and ooze. Why not submit your "wits" to believing God created you? What if God is true, and you stand before His throne? He did a job, and He supplied evidence. You didn't believe it; that's your problem. He's perfect and you're not. If you don't have Christ to cover up your imperfections, there's no other place for people, than h*ll.

He supplied evidence? Where is it?
All we have is a self-contradictory book of fairy tales, most of them stolen from earlier religions.

Oh well, hell's probably the fun place to be, all the interesting people seems to be heading that way.
Heaven seems to be filled with rapture retard who spend their days kissing the hem of Jesus' robes.

h*ll ?

What, I'll have to go stand in the hall?

On a hill? In a holl? (hole?)

Under the hull? WTF is it I'm supposed to do without this christ-cover-up?

I detect a whiff of Pascal's Wager here. Which is not a commendable thing.

As opposed to... what? Being taken in by a book of fairytales - in which just the mere mention of a talking snake completely annihilates any credibility it had right from the start.

"What if God is true, and you stand before His throne?"

The operative word here being 'If.'

What evidence?

Even if your god exists (which is very, very unlikely): Where is the connection between "nonbelief" and "going to hell"? Has your god a problem with a loyal opposition?

Any deity that demands faith and gets angry when you don't believe in him is no different to an insecure, pathetic tyrannical bully. And this makes him ... imperfect.

Do you think you can actually CHOOSE what to believe? I can choose what to say and what to do, but I BELIEVE things that have enough evidence to convince me.
