Quote# 1526

Kent Hovind... He was the person that saved me from the lies of evolution. Why does everyone hate him so? I can understand the evolutionists because they despise hearing anything, but the secular lies they feel safe with, but even some creationists question is credibility. I posted this here because I don't want to hear any evolutionist babble for once on this issue. Did he really fake his education? Does he cheat the government? Is he too paranoid on such issues as the rapture (I've seeen far worse paranoa on this issue alone)? Does he really use old arguments to save people? Is he a liar who decieves people for their money (he runs a non-profit organazation)? Even if he HAS made mistakes in his life, I could easily forgive him because he was the one who showed me the main reasons of why we didn't evolve from a rock.

answer: all of the above. Also, he may claim it's not for profit, but I bet you can guess who's getting the most benefit out of that money (here's a hint- it ain't his flock)

Ken Hovind is behind bars (as is his wife) for fraud, and justly so.

Wait. You seriously abandoned your acceptance of evolution in favor of creationism because of Kent Hovind?

Yes, Hovind cheated the government. He committed tax fraud, remember? And the fallacious and dishonest tactics he used to convince you of creationism are not a reason to forgive him, but one more thing not to forgive him of.

Using a convicted thief as a role model is pretty stupid, but not as stupid as thinking that evolution means we are evolved from a rock (as opposed to being made of dirt, which of course is much more sensible.)

" Did he really fake his education? Does he cheat the government? "

This is easily searched and found, Yes he has a fake diploma and he's a tax offender.
On top of that he's a huge liar, also proved in court transcripts, let alone his ridiculous theories.

I've also seen quite a few of these "he showed me the truth" "He brought me into the faith and saved me" or "He proved science wrong, shamed his opponent and tore their arguments apart" Every statement like this is from people who are already creationists.

Sorry, don't buy it. Only die-hard creationists accept Hovinds arguments, he's never had a convincing counter to anything and have his shite demands a believer mentality.

I suspect Eric Hovind and staff are responsible for most posts like this and Kent before he went to jail also sent many letters of praise to himself (Comforts group obviously does this too)

OF COURSE HE TAUGHT YOU WE DIDN'T EVOLVE FROM A ROCK, BECAUSE WE DON'T COME FROM THAT !!!!!!

This argument makes me sick, they just want to make us look ridiculous : "you are the ones telling the kids we came from a rock" NOT : we didn't come from a rock, stop using that one
