A truly honest conservative, living up to the conservative motto of "Fuck you, Jack, I'm all right!"
Beowulf, I was looking for you at the finish line, but I didn't see you. I guess lugging around that huge load of shit you always seem to have must have prevented you from finishing.
Nice guys finish last? Sometimes, but assholes often don't finish at all.
Accomodating others to the point of neglecting your own needs does tend to hurt you, yes. But if by "being nice" you simply mean cooperating with others toward a shared goal, it typically works better than the "screw you, I got mine" philosophy you espouse - not least because when you do need help, people tend to remember your response when they needed it, and if your response was unhelpful they can return the favor (or lack thereof).

I disagree. It is the nature of conservatives, and especially fundies to be assholes, while it is the nature of liberals to not be assholes. The US has been taken over by conservatives who deliberately use the asshole strategy to steamroll over everone else.
I am currently conducting experiments in responding to conservative assholery with agressive assholery in return.
You should try it. You will be amazed at how much of an asshole you have to be to match what you're getting from conservatives. You may also be surprised at how quickly conservatives cry like babies over the abuse they're getting.
Being nice also make you finish last.
Jesus disagrees with that conclusion, but you really don't care what he said, do you?
I so love being an asshole!!
And you're so very good at it, too
I don't care if I finish last. I like to enjoy the ride.
Unless by "finish last", you mean "die last", then I guess that's why a lot of assholes like you have death wished upon them.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
