People 'explain away scripture' FAR too often. I've personally seen MANY-MANY women (Christian or not), who just want to 'power-trip' men, out of ANGER, ALL THE TIME.
What they fail to realize, is that it's at the expense of the TRUTH, their MUEL-like stiff-necked STUBORNESS, POLLUTES The Message.
All because they want to 'show that man'. Bah!!!

So do you consider it a power trip when women speak? If so, I'd like to remind you that this is the 21st century, where there is gender equality. If you don't like it you can take the first time machine back to the middle ages.

Ah yes, people do 'explain away scripture' all the time. Fundies, mainly. They especially like explaining away the bits about selling all you have and giving the proceeds to the poor, and that bit about camels and needles, and let's not forget the ever-popular cheek business. The guy who is said to have said those things, remind me what he said about women, again?
