I was an atheist/agnostic during UU years. And I have to tell you from personal experience atheism is a sad, hopeless state to be in. I used to buy into the lies of Paul Kurtz and even supported his magazine at one time. Like looking down a dark tunnel of nothing. Also when sick from asthma, even as an atheist, Id pray OH GOD! so what does that tell you....?
