Quote# 1579

[On Christians who accept evolution as God's method of creation]So, if I tell you a lie, and convince you its true, will you say what you believe is a lie or the truth? Since you believe it, you will say its the truth even though I just lied to you and made you think its the truth. Same with these Christian evolutionists. Just because they believe a lie, doesn't make it the truth. We have a choice, either evolution is a lie told by man. Or Creation is a lie told by God. Its up to you to decide who is lying to you.

No, creation is a lie told by man.

It's quite simple, really.

Wrong. Creation is. Period.

If you believe in God as the Creator, what is so hard in seeing that answering God to "WHO did it?" and evolution to "HOW did he do it?" is not a contradiction?

"We have a choice, either evolution is a lie told by man. Or Creation is a lie told by God."

If that is true, then the answer is simple. Creation is a lie. If evolutions is a lie, God must have planted all of the evidence for it (ERVs, fossils, genetic markers, ect.). That would make God a liar and a deceiver, meanining that the creation stories can't be trusted anyway.

Either your God is a liar or he doesn't exist. It is that simple.

OK, creation is a lie told by God.

And how to do determine a lie from the truth? Will you concede that the truth will have demonstrable evidence to back it up and will be instrumental in producing benefits for humanity and/or avoiding unpleasant events? If so, then you have just put the lie to creationism and exalted evolutionary theory.

Besides, consider the following:

"And he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And the LORD said, Thou shalt entice him, and thou shalt also prevail: go out, and do even so."

- II Chronicles 18:21 (KJV)

"Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee."

I Kings 22:23 (KJV)

"And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:"

- II Thessalonians 2:11 (KJV)

According to your bible, it is hardly unusual for your god to tell lies.
