"My density brings me here."___________George McFly
"My Infinite Density brings me here."_______John MacNeil

Use of the phrase "a single phenomena" rules out any plausibility for this rant.
5/8/2008 7:20:16 AM
you, sir, have infinite density.

maybe he's confusing Theory of Evolution with Theory of Everything? But he lost when he Godwin'd.

the bigger the lie, the greater the believeability.
11/19/2008 3:33:24 PM
Also, seriously, what "political gain" could these giant scary conspirators find in encouraging people toward methodological naturalism?
11/19/2008 5:40:07 PM
Quick! Take away his fundisaurus.

Thanks for the reminder - I've been meaning to get a t-shirt made that says "Neil deGrasse Tyson Rocks My Worlds."

Is this word salad or word soup? It's confusing me.

When the evidence is regarded scientifically, as opposed to emotionally, it is clear that THEISM no longer has any validity and it is doubtful whether it ever did have validity. Observing a single phenomena, such as AN OLD BOOK, and extrapolating it to be a theory of everything, without having corroborative evidence, is a viewpoint that is destined to be proved irresponsible in the long term. The RELIGIOUS community makes many such self-serving theory, as is evidenced by their endorsement of the equally illogical "FIRST CAUSE", "INTELLIGENT DESIGN", "BANANA ARGUMENT", "MORALITY ARGUMENT", "RESURRECTION THEORY" and a host of others. The RELIGIOUS maxim, which really is the CHRISTIAN maxim, is that the bigger the lie, the greater the believability. This is based on the theory that the more people don't understand something [LIKE GOD], the likelier it is that they will accept it if people in responsible positions [LIKE THEIR PARENTS, OR PASTORS] pay tribute to it. The RELIGIOUS RIGHT learned how to use this propaganda by using the Big Lie Theory, or the BLT as it is commonly referred to, HUNDREDS OF YEARS AGO. Hitler [A CHRISTIAN] then used that propaganda method to great effect, and it is in continued use in modern time. RELIGION is just another sad product of that immoral method of indoctrinating society for ANY FORM OF gain.

There's a great big hunk of nothing if I ever read one.
9/2/2009 5:47:57 AM
yeah. its not like its the backbone of modern biology that has stood its ground from the peer review process for 150 years. The "poof, goddidit" hypothesis solves everything.

So many F grades in biology.
Don't worry, we won't run out but you will.
5/30/2011 7:31:49 PM
That F in 3rd grade biology still smarts, don't it?
5/5/2013 11:04:01 AM
This is just meaningless slurs at real science.
5/7/2013 2:03:36 AM
Fundies always bitch how society has traded "good for evil and evil for good", but they continually raise stupidity on a pedestal and deny all real science. Guess what, bitches? 9th Commandment says shut up.
5/7/2013 5:24:45 PM
Word salad with a Godwin dressing.
5/7/2013 11:17:22 PM
It's when you regard evidence emotionally that you arrive at Creationism, stupid. Scientifically, the only theory fitting the evidence is the ToE.
Natural selection is one part of Evolution, it's hardly a theory of everything. It's you people who want to push everything into the ToE. No-one who understands it believes it is about anything other than "adaptation to the environment through random mutation and natural selection".
No, no, no! Intelligent Design is the largest lie of them all, which is why the scientific community disregards it completely. Almost everyone with a high school education understand the basics of the ToE.
For the umpteenth time; Hitler banned the learnings of Darwin and had his books burned.
