Quote# 1629

['Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that evolution is a constant ongoing process. So in effect it is impossible for any species to be the pinnacle of evolution rather all species that exist today are the most successful at surviving in their current ecosystem.']

In other words we're all equivalent to a bucket of slime? That's kind of what I thought anyway, since we're only capable of "behaving" as if we were real. [wink] It's all a facade you see, for the great big "nothing" which spurred the whole the thing into existence.

Proof that they skim over the paragraph, ignore any word but evolution, and then go:

A)Monkies.
B)Slime.
C)Hitler.
D)Evil.

I love finding these old quotes. Some really underrated stupidity to be found here.

"In other words we're all equivalent to a bucket of slime?"

- That's what Christian dogma says. There's hope though. If you cringe and grovel in exactly the right way before a deity that, by definition, doesn't need praise, you can be slime that isn't suffering for all eternity.
