Actually, Darwin was a schizophrenic and evolutionists have kept that bit under their hat for years...

1) You wouldn't happen to have any evidence to back that up, would you?
2) Even if you did, the validity of a scientific theory does not depend on the mental state of its originator or any of its backers.
Who the fuck cares if Darwin was a quasi-sentient betentacled sea sponge from beyond the moon? The idea of evolution and the evidence supporting it remain science independent of the history, opinions, and attitudes of any given scientist involved in molding the theory and providing the evidence.
If ad hominem arguments like that were at all valid, then you'd have to abandon your computer thanks to Turning's problems.
So your message is its own negation.
See what I did there?
This does nothing to invalidate the theory of evolution.
However, if anyone could provide knows this to be true, if they could provide a link or citation or something that would be great. I know that Darwin suffered from some illness of some sort that he may or may not have gotten in the tropics while on board The Beagle -- if it was schizophrenia, then it's certainly not what a good deal of people think of when they think of schizophrenia.
(Or maybe I'm the clueless one here. If someone hear knows something I don't or I'm being really obtuse, could you point it out?)
Yeah . . . I'm too lazy to do an real research on my own right now because it is completely irrelevant to his theory of evolution by means of natural selection.
Darwin's illnesses have been put down to everything from arsenic poisoning to food intolerance, and of course to hypochondria (which even many of his family thought was the most likely explanation).
But schizophrenia? That's a new one!

Joan of Arc claimed she heard the voice of God. Remember what happened to her. Nowadays, what she experienced would be diagnosed to as Schizophrenia.
With all the bullshit fundies claim, it's one big case of [citation needed]. They're also the reason why Pfizer's shares have gone up dramatically - and not because of sales of Viagra.
Pfizer (of the UK) also make Preparation H...!
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
