Quote# 1689

Okay. Evolution's a religion because, although the foundation of mutations is valid and they always occur, they can't change a bacteria into anything BUT a bacteria or any animal into another animal. The helioentric model of the universe isn't religious because it makes observations that could have been falsified, yet haven't because they are true. Evolutionism just makes excuses. Bow down before the Geologic Column. [bowing emoticon]

And how do you know what that bacteria used to be or what it may one day become?

I think I can almost understand the stupidity. I think it goes something like this:

God created the world and this happened 6000ish years ago. Even if I was to accept evolution it wouldn't have enough time to happen because I can't see it happening at the moment.

I suppose it is too much for them to make the mental leap to...maybe the Earth is like really old!

Wow! Have I just managed to understand teh stupidity? Or have I got it totally wrong?

The \"invisible barrier to speciation\" strikes again.

But WE define the species. So it's pretty much the old Texas bullseye: fire at the barn and paint the target around the hole.

So you don't understand evolution. Nor religion
