Quote# 1691

According to Brad Stein, 90% of Americans believe in God, even though the public schools have been teaching Evolution as a fact, despite the problems with it, one such example of problems are OOPARTS (Out Of Place ARTifacts). Look up OOPARTS on any search, and see whether or not Evolution REALLY fits the evidence as comfortably as is propagated. However, as with all science, one must examine both sides, THEN come to a conclusion.

Examine the creationist writings on both sides before making up your mind about evolution. Airtight logic.

And evolution precludes God because...?

Nobody is using it as evidence against God. We use it to show that things happened with the need for divine intervention, but if your faith can't even stand up to that, you ain't getting into no heaven.

Evolution does not mean God doesn't exist. Evolution just means that the Bible's creation story is mythology, which should be obvious to anyone over the mental age of 8.

Oh, and physics, geology, and biology in general concur as well.

Except the only valid and proved one is the Antikythera mechanism, which dates to about 150 BC. So it's not old enough to be from a pre-flood civilization.

All the rest are mostly hypothesis, usually based on aliens, not advanced human civilizations.

Science does not require you to look at both sides. Science is not about choosing. Science requires you to look at the facts, and find the better and more detailled explanation you can give.

And I'm sorry to state that "godidit" rise more unanswerable questions than it solves anything.

"According to Brad Stein, 90% of Americans believe in God, even though the public schools have been teaching Evolution as a fact, despite the problems with it"

Ah, so confirming this statistical fact:

US prison population:

Christian: 80%
Atheist: 0.02%

You're only serving to justify Kitzmiller vs. Dover, and the motives for even the Christian Conservative Judge John E. Jones III's ruling in such, eh? Seems that Judge Jones loves his country more than you do, and wants to ensure it's educational superiority.

"However, as with all science, one must examine both sides, THEN come to a conclusion."

As an objectivist (as Judge Jones is certainly a legal one), I agree. Thus one can only come to this conclusion (as Jones did, prior to his ruling in KvD):

Don't come crying to me, when - in the next two years - China overtakes your country in terms of scientific R&D, moaning & bleating 'We're no longer No. 1!' and 'America FUCK NO!'.

The phrase 'I for one welcome our new Chinese overlords' exists for a reason.

'Reason' being the operative word.

Moral: The film "Idiocracy". Less a Sci-Fi(ction) comedy and more a documentary with subsequent viewings, or a self-fulfilling prophecy? You decide...!

OOPARTS? I'm not even going to dignify that with a search.

The grain of proof in this babble is geological overturn, landslides and angle mountain formation.

These things mix time stratas up in the geological table. They've been long understood and predictable by those in the field from the material mix-up they find.

These areas are damn near useless for fossil finds as they grind and rip apart any in place.
