You evolutionists need to realize if you haven't already(you probably have) that we are dealing with the most fundamental of all subjects to be discussed and debated, because who is right changes everything. And for us creationists, well, we don't have to worry about where we will go when we die, evolutionists on the other hand are making a huge gamble on their lives, cause the odds are stacked up against their theory. If we were created, then we were created, there is no probability involved there, it is far more likely that we were created then if we evolved from the Big-Bang. We can all agree that the chances of us evolving without God are very slim, it's like trying to pull out the numbers 1 through 1,000 randomly from a jar without skipping a number or getting one out of order. Those are the odds that you are basing your eternal existence on. The fossil record does not show evolution, math does not show evolution, all of creation in it's designed appearance points toward a Designer! You should at least consider the possibility of God being behind everything, rather than risk eternity in punishment for your willful choice of evolution. I'm not saying to believe in God, but to just set your heart to searching for Him.

Whether creationism is right or not shouldn't change what the Bible is trying to say. Of course, AIG has the perfect rebuttal to that.
It is, however, a common excuse by these 21st century Pharisees who want to insist that their religion should be protected from harm at all costs.
It might be time for a new Jesus, but I doubt it's going to be the Hollywood production that Rapture Ready is hoping for.

What's this about math and evolution? Is this \"10\" all over again?

Oh, I could have some fun with this guy. If he thinks 1000! (the number he pulled out of the air there) is big, he ought to wait until I do my bit. Let's just say the numbers involved were on the order of 10^100,000, maybe bigger. (Granted, that was only in dealing with a particular fundie who said mutations don't happen. And at the time, I didn't know about the numerous genes that have 5 or more alleles, which make it an absolute certainty - Adam and Eve combined could only have had 4.)

You're really wrong.
Pascal's wager is bunk.

Nobody's arguing that the numbers 1 to 1000 would be picked in perfect order at random. Evolution results in alot of mutation that doesn't pan out. It's more like if you randomly started picking numbers between 1 and 1000, and discarded the numbers that weren't right for where they needed to be. You'd get to 1000 eventually.

IF there was a designer, he must be a very flawed one indeed.
Why do we have a marker for making Vitamin C, but the marker is turned off?
Why was chickenpox, the Bubonic Plague, Tuberculosis, Scurvy, etc, created?
Why do we have a tail bone?
Why is the retina created like it is, giving us a blind spot?
Why do we have an appendix?
Why do wales have hip bones?
Why is everything just Good Enough, not perfect?
You are aware that there are about a thousand creation stories, right? You can't all be right.
I believe that if there is a God, he started the Evolution, as it's the most effective way to create diversity in nature, with the least amount of work from his side.

I'll say it again.
The process of evolution of one species is kind of playing with loaded dice.

Allegory for Jesus
lol at "evolved from the Big-Bang" and "math does not show evolution". Read a fucking book.
Also: Pascal's wager is fail.
