Quote# 1768

If you were to present Charles Darwin with the discoveries we have made involving the increased complexity of his original theory, he would even realize his mistake. The man was having a spiritual crisis at the time. Some of his ideas were right, I will admit, but he was really grasping for some new concepts to help himself out. He's not the one who came out and said that we all evolved from monkeys. He's just a poster boy for evolutionists.

Actually, Darwin is a poster boy for creationists. Many rational people understand that Darwin was not the first scientist to propose biological evolution as the explanation for our origins.

Darwin proposed natural selection as the mechanism...and creationists are OBSESSED with the man.

Darwin wrote the first comprehensive, well researched and professionally documented book on the concept. It stayed that for nearly 100 years. The last fifty years have only verified most of it, and vastly increased the concepts validity.

It's over 150 years old now, it's not the definitive overbooky of all biology, it's not even required reading for modern biology students.

Catch the fuck up to at least the last century.
