There are way too many Indians around that do no work, and leech off of welfare and enjoy the fact that they don't have to pay taxes, just because they whine about how their "land" was wrongfully stolen from them and how their customs were destroyed, despite the fact that We made their life infinately better.

Millions upon millions of people, reduced to a fraction of that number and living in pockets of land throughout the country that are smaller than the smallest of dots on a map. Yeah we made their life so much better. Tell that to their great grandparents who were killed so they could have a tv and a car.

No, you're thinking of Kent Hovind. Native Americans are taxpayers just like you (I assume) are. While it is true that Indian Reservations are not assessed property taxes, and non-profit tribal organizations are accorded the same tax-exempt status as any other non-profit group (like your church...), individual Native Americans pay as much taxes as you do. Every time they buy something, or get a paycheck, or do all the crap that you get taxed on, they, too, get taxed on. And while it is true that a Native American living on reservation land is not assessed the same property taxes as you likely are, would you want to live on Reservation land? If you ever want to see where the shittiest land in the USA is, get a government land-use map and look for the orange. Those are the Native American Reservations.
And the casinos? They pay the same taxes as any other for-profit business.

Only if you consider abject, crushing poverty, alcoholism and drug addiction rates thirty times the national average, being virtually shut out of politics on a national level, suicide rates twenty times the national average, drop-out rates ten times the national average, living in cinderblock houses on dried-out hardpan dirt expanses, having your culture and racial identity systematically stripped from them,and assholes like you walking around calling them "red men," then I guess their life is better, isn't it?
the fact of the matter is that almost all of the Indian-owned and operated casinos are located on TRIBAL land, and are filled to the gills with INDIANS. Gambling their family's paychecks away....
What difference would it make if they did? The profits go to the tribe anyway.
Look, nutcase, I live in a town that has a large Native American population. Some of them are on welfare, just like some of the whites. Some of them are lawyers, some are teachers, some are laborers, some are doctors or nurses, some own businesses. None work at a casino - the nearest one is a half-day's drive away.
