Why does Satan bother to blaspheme a non-existent God? The very fact that blasphemy exists proves that God exists. We see this in the world today - Jesus is a swear word - why if he is dead. Why not Budda or Mohammed or any other religious leader? Yet God and Jesus are the blasphemies of choice for most people. Why? Because they are real!

Don't forget about the online adult novelty distributors who sell jesus christ butt plugs.
Clearly, using your reasoning, the only reason someone would want to shove an image of da laawwd up their ass is because he's really truly real.
QED bitch.
Why not Budda or Mohammed or any other religious leader?
Because you live in the Western world where most of the population is influenced by Christian teachings you fuckwit. Move to the Eastern world and see how true your little theory is.
"Why does Satan bother to blaspheme a non-existent God?"
It's sometimes hard to believe that people as stupid as this actually function in society. God idoes not exist, but neither do the other characters from your ancient fairy tale. Satan is a fiction.
"The very fact that blasphemy exists proves that God exists."
The blasphemy is only a fact if one believes in God. When I say "God is a fiction," you may feel that a blasphemy, but I don't. The fact that YOU believe in blasphemy only shows that YOU believe in God.
"We see this in the world today - Jesus is a swear word - why if he is dead."
"God" and "Jesus" are used as exclamations in some segments of our society. They don't have any religious meaning in that context. When I say "Jesus fucking Christ" I don't mean that Jesus is having sex with himself, it's just an exclamation.
"Why not Budda or Mohammed or any other religious leader?"
Perhaps if our culture had a majority Muslim population, Allah and/or Mohammed would have become exclamations.
"Yet God and Jesus are the blasphemies of choice for most people. Why? Because they are real!"
No. God, Jesus and blasphemy are all in your imagination.
Accepted shows us how a majority of one religon in a country can helps create new swears, curses, and exclaimation. Do you think Muslims yell out Jesus fucking Christ? No, they would probably yell out some sort of curse derivived from their religon.
Profanity arises from using words that are taboo or ways in which they are considered taboo. Invoking the name of God in vain was considered by our culture as taking something sacred lightly. In Quebec, more Catholic terms are used as swear words; for example, words like "sacrament," "chalice," and "tabernacle" are used as swear words -- but that wouldn't give any more weight to the beliefs of the Catholic Church, right?
Yet again, trying to use what people do as proof of God's existence. Hey, Earth calling Accepted: People do lots of things, it still doesn't prove God exists!
Who is and where is Satan?, can you give me his mobile phone?, I would like to debate some points on the subject with him...............now man, I was just being sarcastic for the sake of exposing your ridicule. Blasphemy is the ridiculisation of any belief. There is, indeed, blasphemy against Islam(see Danish cartoons)and against Judaism, and more often than not is swore by people who don´t believe in it. It is meant to insult the believers, not a deity, or rather concept of deity, which people don´t believe in. And if you mean Jesus as an exclamation, is even less tangible. Even religious, moderate I mean, people, say it without meaning to invoke the real figure of Jesus. It´s like saying golly or hey. Don´t be so ethnocentric. Surely in a muslim country or in Thailand they use different expressions which have nothing to do with those we employ.

Perhaps because Buddha and Mohammed were not sick psychopathic killers?
Uh, you really need to read the Qu'ran.
Yet God and Jesus are the blasphemies of choice for most people.
Maybe in the US, but not in other places, you moron. A frequent saying in Arabic countries is "If God wills it." (While not a blasphemy), just saying it does not prove that God wills anything or even that God exists.
"Logic is taking a terrible beating, ladies and gentlemen. There's a left from accepted, and another left, and a right cross that staggers logic ..."
Whenever someone swears, "Mother of God," the Protestant conception of Mary is disproved. After all, why does (a nonexistent) Satan bother to blaspheme a nonexistent Mother of God?
...or because sufficient masses believe they're real.
Satan, if he exists, would absolutely blaspheme God. After all, if God doesn't exist, Satan doesn't either. He's the only entity in existence who can be certain! If even he exists. Perhaps that's why Satan (if any) tries so hard to convince us he's not there, eh? :b

Why does Satan bother to blaspheme a non-existent God?
If god doesnt exist then why would satan exist?
The very fact that blasphemy exists proves that God exists.
No, it just proves that your feligion exist.
We see this in the world today - Jesus is a swear word - why if he is dead. Why not Budda or Mohammed or any other religious leader?
Because Jesus is most common here.
Yet God and Jesus are the blasphemies of choice for most people. Why? Because they are real!
"God" can be any god. It can mean Zeus, Allah, Jehoviah, etc. In order to use your god's name in vain, you would have to say "Jehoviahdamnit" and not "goddamnit".
Confused?
