Help Syrian War Victims
Seriously dude, what didn't you understand? I attempted to show why slavery could be seen as ok from a biblical standpoint.

Yeah but it's not okay from a humane standpoint.

This speaks for itself...

Now try it from a MORAL standpoint.

"...slavery could be seen as ok from a biblical standpoint."
That. Unless, of course, the Bible was written by a bunch of greedy, bigoted HUMANS, it makes no sense. Is there something you'd like to tell us now?

Says the race that was last enslaved by the Romans and it was a looooong time ago and they didn't hold us for long (taking over a country and holding it are two different things. The first part involves superior weaponry, surprise and the desire to do it. To hold the people, that's hard.) But we white folk learned how to enslave, and Christanity led both of those enslavements.

Seriously, dude, what didn't you understand? Slavery is not okay from any standpoint. No matter what you use to justify it, it's not okay.

Which means the Bible is immoral.

"....And how rape and misogyny and murder are all ok from a biblical standpoint but, dude, you just won't listen."

Now try it from the point of view of someone with a conscience.

Allegory for Jesus
If only these people were around when the saner Jeebusites are trying to pretend that abolition could only have occurred through the spirit of equality that only Jeebusism could supply. It would be very entertaining.

Seriously, dude, haven't you caught on yet that nobody is going to agree with you? Give it a rest.

Then the biblical standpoint must be wrong. From a human standpoint, owning others is very wrong.
Do YOU want to be sold into slavery, GTX?
