I have skimmed over that [Christian-authored]
article about radiometric dating and...I will trust my source, Bob Jones University about it because the person who wrote it claims that the earth is Billions of years old, which is false. If it was showing Radiometric dating methods to give dates no higher than 10,000 years then I might be intersted, but it doesn't, he still claims sadly, like most "Christians", that the earth is billions of years old.

Creationist science: Start with your conclusion and look for evidence to support it. Reject any evidence that does not support it.

Ugh, I was “educated” with the text books from Bob Jones University when I went to a fundie Christian school. Thank goodness I’m naturally skeptical and had the sense to research other sources or I’d be as dumb as you. Even after sixteen years of indoctrination from an early age they couldn’t turn off my brain enough to make me ignore the fact that learning about Adam and Eve in biology was suspect. So thanks Bob Jones for enlightening me to the insanity of trying to mix Bronze Age superstitions with modern scientific study.

Didn't do well in 3rd grad science, did you?

Carbon dating isn't the only form of radiometric grading, darling fundies. Carbon doesn't reach far enough back? Use thorium. And failing that, keep stepping further back on the scale; There's a whole spectrum of radiometric tools available to science.
Sadly, there's still only one tool available to fundamentalists, and it comes in a few dozen contradictory, error-speckled editions of precisely the same tool, that can't even achieve internal consistency.
"Skimmed over" is a typical fundie problem. I have some reading I would like to suggest, to any religious folk reading my comment;
Read your Bible. Cover to cover. Then think about what you've read. Don't take it on faith, take it on thought; Use what "God" ostensibly gave you. We'll be waiting for your comments on FSTDT, once you're back in the realm of the rational.

Wow you fail at science..
Pick up a geology book and look at petrified wood and A carbon based ore called coal..

Here's a nice summary for everyone:
"If the evidence doesn't support what I believe, then it's obviously false so I'll just ignore it."

So your source, Sunday School University, is stuck in the Dark Ages, and you're happy to stay there with it?
Why don't you move to Saudi Arabia? If you just tweak your religion a leetle bit, you'll feel right at home there.
