Could it be that Hilter was a hate-filled person who was raised on anti-Semitic garbage his whole life that was a result of the European mistrust of a culturally distinct minority who refused to assimilate in their culture? Nah.

At least you immediately discount your ridiculous proposition.

Could it be of some reason he didn't like supposed Christ-killers? You know, he was a Christian maybe?

"But have you ever just wondered why? Why did Nazi Germany under Hitler try to exterminate homosexuals? Of all people, why the homosexuals? Couldn't be that Satan has it out for God's chosen! Nah..."
Fixed it for ya.

What Osiris said.
Also, read "The Tipping Point" by Malcolm Gladwell. It may help to shed some light onto how Hitler was so easily able to get the rest of Germany to go along with him.

Are you completely history deficient? You don't need to wonder why, you can read Hitler's own book, and there are letters from him that still exist. You can probably find them in an English translation.
One reason was that the Jews killed Jesus Christ.
Another reason was that they found Jews to be an inferior race.
Yet another reason was that the Jews got scapegoated for the complete and humiliating defeat in the Great War (WWI). If the Germans hadn't been so thoroughly humiliated after WWI, there might not have been a WWII, because Hitler would not have gotten every German on his side that easily.

Nah, same reason you hate the gays and feminists and environmentalists and pro-choicers and Democrats and pagans and people who read Twilight. Bigotry and a sick mind.

"Of all people, why the Jews? Couldn't be that Satan has it out for God's chosen! Nah..."
...Yes. Along with Jehovah's Witnesses, homosexuals, Gypsies, Poles, Soviet POWs, the physically & mentally handicapped, political dissidents, and anyone the Nazis considered 'undesirable'
Just as certain people think the same should be done with Catholics, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Wiccans, Agnostics, Atheists, Democrats, Left-wingers, and generally anyone not True Christians™ like them.
Bigotry and xenophobia can do that to people. However, 'Satan' (if he exists) had nothing to do with the Holocaust. Hitler himself was a Christian, 'doing God's will' after all...
Hitler = Right-wing
Everyone on Ruptured Retards = Right-wing
You do the maths, Xtreme.
"One reason was that the Jews killed Jesus Christ."
And therein lies the great paradox of Christianity, and one of the reasons why I turned away from such superstitious bullshit and became an Atheist: If the Jews hadn't killed Jesus, then there would be no Christianity. Also, Jesus was a Jew too (had a Bris, underwent the Bar Mitzvah in his youth etc...).
But then, that's fundie Xtianity all over, and the book it's based on. Full of contradictions, inconsistencies and errors.

History Fail! European countries had been persecuting the Jews for centuries before Hitler came along. Pointing the rabble at the "outsiders" is a time-honored profession among upper-class puppet masters. This is especially convenient when large sums of money are owed and there is no intention to repay. The broad generality hides the real motivation and the specific targets. Besides that, there is church-sanctioned fun for all the nice racists. Those at the top never have to get their hands dirty - unless they want to.

Could it be that Hitler was a Fundamentalist? Nah.
8/9/2010 3:41:38 PM
Hitler was a racist monster, like so many Christian fundies.
12/11/2012 1:07:41 AM
They said, as so many others have done, that it was because the Jews killed Jesus.
The fact that Jesus himself was a Jew is a COMPLETELY different issue, of course!

Even Satan in his worst nightmares could not have conceived of places like Auschwitz-Birkenau and Treblinka.
