I see the biggest factor being the fact that if a muzzie prosetylizes here in the states, nothing happens. Same thing in Israel. If a Christian or a Jew does likelwise in a muzzie nation, their heads are separated from their bodies.

I'm not saying that JBG isn't crazy in some other way - I don't know, and I can't get the link to the quote to work, so I have no context - but this doesn't seem like raving fundie material to me.
What JBG says is correct at least in that Muslim nations often do not allow other faiths to proselytize and persecute religious minorities (e.g. http://www.hrw.org/reports/pdfs/e/egypt/egypt94n.pdf and http://www.hrw.org/reports/1993/WR93/Mew-03.htm ).
While "muzzie" does sound a little offensive, let's not forget that the site we are posting on is called "Fundies say the darndest things."
I really don't think this post should have been put on fstdt.
Other than the use of what I suspect to be a FreeCon racial slur, I don't really see anything too horribly fundie about this comment... Though something makes me think (Probably it being from FreeCon) that this guy wants it to be illegal to proselytize anything but his particular brand of Christianity...
I don't find this to be fundie, despite being offensively worded. Like another poster, I'm not sure if this person is criticising the US for being too free or Muslim countries for lacking freedom, and frankly, I'm happier not killing braincells by visiting FreeCon to check the context.
Also, "muzzie" just made me think of Aussie slang for mosquitos, which I would spell as "mozzie" but I can see someone else writing "muzzie".
So what about the Crusades, the Inquisition, the witch hunts, and other stuff like that?
^I'd say that's pretty much completely irrelevant to both the quote, which criticizes current conditions and not those 500 years ago, and the question as to whether or not it's a 'fundie' quote.
The only thing that makes it even moderately offensive is the term 'muzzie.'
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
