crying...
while crying might not be a totally evil sin, crying offen does reflect a babies inner desire for itself.
note that Jesus did not cry when he was born.
Also, even if the baby is quite, you can see that sin is born with it.
Sin can effect you in two ways, by it being done to you or you doing it.
In the case of a new-born, by living in a sinful world, even the new borns suffer from sin. Not all new borns are born in perfect bliss? without disease...infact all are born...someday to die. the price of man's sin...sad isn't it...
yes you might have seen me before...but God will always provide a witness. We will all stand together on this one.

Crying is a sin? Don't babies cry partially to get some of the last fluid out of their lungs and to kickstart breathing(please correct me if I'm wrong)? I can see how that's evil. Adding another sin bound individual , as opposed to a member of the Christian Collective, to this world is the worst thing a parent can do in the eyes of god.
Niccomm:
Only those pansy-assed European Christians and those slopey-eyed Asians cry.
Big, tough, macho, American TRUE CHRISTIANS® (now with REAL cajones!) don't cry -- they blow their enemies away with an AK-47!
Here it is, straight from the Authorized Pull-It-Out-of-Your-Ass Version of the Bible:
Luke 2:6 So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling cloths, and laid him in a manger, because, even though he didn't cry, there was no room for them in the inn.
Babies have to cry when they're born in order to clear their lungs. Babies who don't cry are likely brain-injured.
What will become of the world
Well, eventually the Sun will go nova, and goodbye world. In the shorter term Man, the Storytelling Chimpanzee, will die off and cease to trouble the rest of Life, and in a few millions of years it will be as if he had never been. What happens before that, I dunno. Was it important?
Now babies who do something THEY´RE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR, are sinners?, and how do you know that Jesus DIDN´T CRY?, were you there in the moment of his birth?. Please, take the computer out of these idiots.
You know, I see a thing like this, I want to make a pithy comment, but all I can come up with is "God, what a shithead." Sadly, the fact that so many fundies are one of a kind with the legalistic Pharisees portrayed in the gospels is lost on so many of them...
Babies cry because that's pretty much the only way they have to communicate. They haven't developed any language skills yet, so they have to do something. And as for children being self-centered, that's not a sin either. If anything, it's probably a left-over survival trait, and a lack of maturity and understanding. Any being that doesn't care for itself at least a little will die, and children don't have the maturity or experience to understand that anything other than themselves might be important.
Oh noes! he must be right! I was dead quiet as a baby, it MUST be the SIN of TOUCHING MYSELF even before birth!
uhuh, right you fundie. Kids cry when uncomfortable, scared, or otherwise trying to get something (whether food, a diaper change, attention, etc). If you stopped screaming insane senseless religious drivel at them and actually tried to figure out what's wrong, they wouldn't do it so much.
I was a very quiet one myself. Apparently I barely responded when they slapped me at birth, and went right back to sleep.
This is St. Augustine, through Luther.
Yes, Augustine even called himself a sinner (and wrote a big book about it) for stuff like plucking fruit as a child or crying as a baby.
It is thanks to this sorry "saint" that there exists the notion that everybody is a sinner and deserves damnation, and is only saved thanks to God's arbitrary grace. I fail to see why anyone would like to believe this, given that there's no reason to do so.
By the way is this said seriously? it comes from evilbible.com
Confused?
